[jitsi-users] Issue with incoming message notification in gmail

Hello,

I am having a puzzling issue with Jitsi. The scenario is this:

- I use jitsi in a Gmail account,
- I am usually concurrently connected in this account with other clients
other than jitsi (hangout, gmail, gtalk).
- I am chatting with a friend in another gmail account
- My friend is connected with the gmail client.

The issue is this: when I send a new chat message with jitsi, my friend
does not get a notification of the new incoming message (i.e. the chat
window in gmail does not blink). On the other hand, if I send a message
through the gmail client, she gets a notification.

Is this a bug?
